Metallic Printing

Metallic Ink

This is a type of ink formulated from powdered metals or reflective pigments; metallic ink gives text and graphic elements a genuine metallic appearance. It can be in both gold and silver shades.

Holography

Holographic foil or holographic material is one of the most powerful ways to make your label stand out on a crowded shelf. With their signature light-shifting, rainbow-like hues, these labels instantly communicate premium quality before a customer even picks up the bottle.

Cold Foil

Cold foil is the technique of applying gold, silver, holographic, or other metallic finishes directly inline on the printing press.

The result is a striking, high-quality foil effect that's visually stunning and it can be used across an entire label or on specific areas.

Metallic Substrate

For a seamlessly metallic look across the entire label, we print directly onto a metallic substrate such as a silver-toned PP film or metallic coated paper.

A metallic substrate is a label material with a built-in metallic finish (such as silver or gold and many colour) that enhances shine, depth, and premium appearance, often used as a base for high-end packaging and label designs.

By layering colours over the reflective base material, we can simulate a wide range of metallic tones, from warm gold to bold metallic red, without the need for separate foiling processes. It's a versatile way to achieve a consistently premium metallic finish across your entire range.

Varnishes

Gloss Varnish and Matte varnish

Gloss varnish is a high‑shine clear coating that makes printed colours look richer and more vibrant. It’s the brightest, most reflective of all the printing finishes. Gloss varnish also provides a protective layer against moisture and handling.
Matte varnish is a non‑shiny clear coating applied over print to create a smooth, elegant, and glare‑free finish. It softens colours, reduces reflections, and gives packaging a refined look. Similar to gloss varnish it also provides a protective layer against moisture and handling.

Tactile Varnish

Tactile varnish can add a raised, textured finish to selected elements of your label; a logo, a seal, a pattern that's immediately noticeable to the touch.

Satin Varnish

Satin varnish is a finishing coat applied over a printed label that sits between matte and gloss it gives a subtle sheen without being too flat or too shiny.
