Our standard production turnaround time is approximately 5 working days after final proof approval. Please be aware that orders involving custom dies, specialty materials, or complex finishes may require additional processing time.

CMYK stands for Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Key (Black). It is the standard color model used in printing, where these four ink colors are combined in varying percentages to create a wide range of printed colors.

In labeling, die cutting is used to create labels by cutting the desired shapes into one or more layers of a label construction. A flexible metal die is mounted on a magnetic cylinder and placed in a manufacturing press to cut self-adhesive labels precisely.

Lamination in self-adhesive labels is a protective layer (usually a thin transparent film) applied over the printed label surface.

The values of  2 inch, 2.5 inch, 3 inch (40mm, 50mm & 76 mm-standard paper core), which are usual for labelling systems, are available to you as roll core diameters. With the right core, you avoid machine downtimes and ensure ideal labelling speed for your products.

The roll diameter indicates how large the rolls are in diameter (with labels). You can specify this value individually during the ordering process when configuring the roll. If a specific roll size is to be maintained, the number of labels per roll must be specified.

As the name suggests, roll-fed labels are labels that are wound onto a roll. The labels can be designed freely and individually according to your specifications and wishes. Roll labels are particularly suitable for machine processing. If you apply your labels to the product by hand, we recommend our labels on A4 sheets.

A way of highlighting a certain area of a page by selectively applying a varnish to it.

For the machine processing of your labels it is important that you know which winding direction your machine requires. A distinction is made between inner and outer winding and how your labels are positioned on the roll, i.e. foot first, head first, word start first or word end first.

Artwork – photographs, drawings, paintings, hand lettering to illustrate printed matter.

Protective varnish – whether in matt or glossy – primarily ensures that your label is protected against ink abrasion.The protective varnish protects against ordinary abrasion. If your products are packaged in such a way that they rub against each other, for example, or if you want 100% protection against ink abrasion, then we recommend film lamination in any case.

A barcode is a machine-readable, visual representation of data, typically using parallel lines (1D) or geometric patterns (2D) to store information like product IDs or website links. Scanned optically, they enable rapid data entry for inventory, retail, and logistics. Main types include linear 1D codes (e.g., UPC, EAN) and 2D codes (e.g., QR, Data Matrix). 

Usages:

1. UPC (Universal Product Code) : A shampoo bottle label with a barcode scanned at checkout in stores.

2. EAN (European Article Number) : Imported food products in supermarkets (e.g., chocolate, beverages)

3. Code 39: Warehouse labels or machine part identification tags

4. Code 128: Courier shipping labels (DHL, FedEx)

5. ITF (Interleaved 2 of 5) : Outer carton boxes in warehouses (not individual retail items)

6. Code 93 : Electronics or defense-related labeling systems

7. Codabar (often written as Codebar): Hospital blood sample labels or library books

8. QR Code (Quick Response Code) : Product label with “Scan to visit website” or promotions

9. Data Matrix : Tiny code on medicine strips or microchips

10. PDF417: Boarding passes, ID cards, shipping documents

11. Aztec Code: Airline tickets, mobile boarding passes

Varnish (Gloss/Matte/Satin): A thin liquid layer that can be applied to the entire label (flood) or specific areas (spot) to create contrast between shiny and dull sections.

Gloss Laminate: Adds a shiny, reflective surface that enhances color vibrancy.

Matte Laminate: Creates a smooth, non-reflective, velvety surface for a premium, understated look.

Soft Touch Laminate: Provides a luxurious, soft, and velvety texture.

Rough Touch/Grit Laminate: Gives a sandpaper-like, sandy, or textured tactile feel.

Extra inked area that crosses designated trim line; used to allow for variations that occur when the reproduction is trimmed or die-cut.

Pantone provides a universal language of color that enables color-critical decisions through every stage of the workflow for brands and manufacturers.  A color system based on over a thousand ink colors,  Also known as pantone matching system.

A digital or physical representation of a completed product.
1. Digitally, it displays the artwork and appearance of a file.
2. Physically, it shows how the image will look when printed on the specific paper. Physical proofs can differ from the digital versions in appearance.

Measured in DPI or Dots Per Inch, the greater the DPI the better the image quality, standard is 300dpi.

A substrate that has a sticky back when the backing sheet is removed. This is used to adhere graphics to boards, walls, floors, glass and other surfaces and can be removable or permanent and comes in white or clear.

Metallic printing is exactly what it sounds like: a print technique that uses metallic inks or foils to create a shimmering, reflective effect on paper or cardstock

A flat, dull finish on photographic or coated printing paper. As opposed to a satin (semi-matt) or gloss finish.

Cold foil is a decorative printing process used to add metallic effects—such as gold, silver, or holographic finishes—to labels without using heat.

Tactile varnish is a special coating applied to labels that creates a textured or raised surface, allowing consumers to feel the design through touch. It enhances both the visual and sensory appeal of printed labels.

Invisible ink, often termed security ink or sympathetic ink, refers to substances used for writing or printing that are invisible upon application but can be made visible through specific methods such as heat, ultraviolet (UV) light, or chemical reactions.

Holography is a technique used to create 3-dimensional (3D) images called holograms using light, usually laser light.

Variable Data Printing (VDP) is a form of digital printing that allows text, graphics, and images to change from one piece to the next using information from a database, enabling, for example, personalized marketing materials without pausing the press. It is highly effective for increasing response rates in direct mail and creating tailored promotional products.

Our labels are compatible with both manual and automated application processes. If you are using an automatic labeling machine, please inform us in advance so we can ensure proper roll direction, spacing, and core size.

We provide a variety of adhesive options including permanent, removable, and freezer-grade adhesives. The appropriate adhesive depends on your product surface, storage conditions, and usage environment.

Made with powdered metal or pigments that reflect to make text look metallic. The most common colours used are silver and gold.

This is one of the most important printing terms to know because it represents the preferred printing method for coloring digital print files. CMYK – cyan, magenta, yellow and black – is the combination of ink colors most commonly used in the four color process or digital printing. Images in digital documents (RGB) must be converted from other color formats to cyan, magenta, yellow and black before printing onto label material for accurate color matching.      

Changes or cancellations can only be made before final proof approval. Once production begins, modifications may not be possible.

Online Printing System is a prepress process that bridges the gap between online digital content and commercial print production. Jobs handled by Express Production are finished in 48 hours. We can deliver within 48 hours if your artwork is on our system by 2 p.m. Only when we already have the required equipment on hand, such as die cutters and stamping tools, is Express Production feasible. Above 25,000 item orders are also not eligible for Express Production.

Taking into account your task parameters, our current production volumes, and the selected shipping mode, our technology determines delivery dates in real time. DHL takes two days , Standard Delivery requires 1-2 days.

Email or phone cancellations are both acceptable methods. Only if the job has not yet been passed to production is cancellation feasible.

Theoretically, we could print you only one label, but that wouldn't be very economical. In order to accommodate production runs of various sizes, our production setup includes the most recent digital printing technology, thus the majority of the costs associated with orders under 1,000 just involve setting up our equipment. Orders of 1,000 and above are recommended in order to provide you with the best value. But, we would be more than pleased to provide you a quote for fewer labels.

There are three options for designing and customizing a product. Click a product on the left-hand panel and choose one of the options.

1. Custom Design: lets you customize the products. Click it to open the design studio and use multiple tools to create your own design.

2. Upload Design: using this option, you can upload your own JPG, JPEG, GIF, PNG, EPS, AI, PDF and PSD images.

3. Browse Design: use this to select hundreds of pre-loaded templates. Work on them or customize them through our design studio.

The type of label material used for difference purposes is expressed in weight. In the countries following the European system, it is grammes per square metre (gsm or g/m² or simply g) and in the US system it is Pound (lb).

The label used for printing for product labels (Label and such stationery) is generally between 60 to 120 gsm (20 to 70 lb) and is called the label stock.

Coated papers are available in two finishes – glossy (shiny and smooth) and matt (flat and lusterless). Coated glossy papers reflect the light evenly so they are suitable for almost all types of printing jobs. Glossy papers have a good ink holdout, which is important for creating sharp, bright images.

Our labels, which are also referred to as pressure sensitive labels, digital labels, or simply roll labels, can be applied to any surface by simply peeling the label from its backing. This can be done manually or automatically.

You are totally in control of this. Simply let us know how many labels per roll you need. You may also input this amount when ordering your labels online using the Online Calculator.

If you need to specify a maximum roll diameter because you'll be applying your labels with a machine, you can do so when placing your purchase.

Self-adhesive label stock that we print on comes in a wide range of varieties, including paper and film substrates. Our Materials Guide has further information about our different paper varieties.

Whatever problem you have is given top priority. When a problem arises, our team will actively try to fix it and get in touch with you right away. We must check the items on-site in order to ascertain the cause, have a chance at a thorough investigation, and, if required, correction, if the cause cannot be determined by email and on the basis of the images and videos given.

On the Stick on Labels and Easytapes the letters are made smaller the more there are ie Tom King will have a larger size lettering than Charles Gregor Macgregor. On the Stick on labels and Easytapes even 30 small letters are still very readable. On the Transfers we don't recommend more than about 20 letters as they can be hard to see clearly once ironed on if too small. On woven tapes the letters stay the same size but the tape will be longer for a long name.

Orders for standard shipping to the all the Gulf Countries are always sent out by DHL courier service in your countries. A supplement is required depending on the quantity of labels and the country of destination if the labels are being transported outside of the all the Gulf Countries. 

For express delivery there is a weight-based fee for DHL overnight delivery is applicable.

Freight charges are subject to increase / decrease in fuel surcharge.

HP Collage is a creative technology that generates large numbers of unique label variations from a set of brand elements you provide.  

The outputs aren’t randomized, collage is designed with brand control in mind every variation remains visually connected to the same family, so your identity stays consistent even as each individual label stays unique. 

Our system supports RGB (red, green, blue) for producing digital prints. We have accurately mapped color pallet to match RGB to CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, key) to ensure proper 4-color printing. if your design conatins Pantone shades and you want to have accurancy of colours matching you have to selec t pantone colour printing which is combination of (CMYK+OV). for all Mettalic and Transperant material base white colour will be added by default. 

800 dpi (dots per inch) is the resolution of the output PDF file.

We use Digital printing using most advance HP Indigo Technology with Electro Inks , which provides the highest quality of print material for both text and photo quality of images.

Want to know exactly how your labels will appear once they are finished being produced? For a modest cost, we would be pleased to create a colour proof for you. So, during production, we can use this for colour matching as well. We would be pleased to talk with you about and set up a press proof if you requested one. Use our Label Proofing services while placing order ( This is optional service )

The quality is guaranteed to be the same throughout each run through standard operating processes (such as colour matching with previous runs), the most modern measurement tools, and strict quality control. We can adhere to Process Standard Offset criteria thanks to our colour management system. Also, we employ the most recent technology and continually train our employees to reduce colour fluctuation. Even so, if you're not completely satisfied with your labels, please contact us using the contact form or give our customer service staff a call; they'll be pleased to assist you.

The fact that screens don't accurately represent colours is a typical issue here. Screens use the »RGB« colour space and may produce colours that differ somewhat from what is seen when printed. For printing, we employ the four CMYK process colours (cyan, magenta, yellow, and black). Isolated colour changes can be the result of conversion between colour spaces. This can be avoided by using CMYK print data that has been professionally developed and a colour proof that we offer.

Depending on the requirements of the task, Fast Production is normally priced at 25% of the regular pricing for orders of AED 1000 or more. A fixed fee of AED 250 is charged for orders up to AED 2000.

In order to provide reruns as correctly as promptly as possible, we maintain print data on file. It also means that in the event of any unforeseen circumstances on your end, we have a backup copy of your artwork. Naturally, upon your request, we would gladly remove your data from our system. We only take graphic files, therefore we're sorry but we can't accept, Microsoft Word files (.docx). PDF, EPS, TIF, AI, or JPG (editing can't be done in TIF & JPG for formats)  are acceptable file formats for data. On our label artwork page or in our blog, you can discover more specific information.

With graphics applications like Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, or ArtPro, you can create great print data that satisfies our criteria.

You can order one of our Artwork Services as an add-on if you're uncertain about whether your artwork is print-ready or not. The data check does not look for typographical or other problems; it only evaluates if the data is suitable for printing. Yes, the price list indicates basic prices of products against the speculative quantities. The prices are calculated with regard to the most basic label types, sizes and printing options you choose. As you know, the final printing cost depends on many parameters: label material weights or thickness (GSM/Pt), glossy or matt finish, 4 colors / Pantone, square or rounded corners, Oval and custom size printing, quantity, destination shipping charges and the mode of transport. Please use the indicative prices for calculating the basic cost. Once you place the order using the above parameters, we will quickly mail you the final, exact cost. if there are any changes observed to artworks uploaded by customer.

VAT will be applied on gross invoice value of VAT rates applicable to your country.

Direct debit, credit (VISA or MasterCard), debit (VISA electron or Maestro), and credit card payments are all acceptable methods of payment for your jobs in your local GGC currencies(AED, OMR, SAR, KWD, QAR, BHD) and US$. Please be aware that any newly registered clients will be asked to pay in full for their initial two orders. After that, a member of our customer service team would be pleased to talk with you about creating alternative credit accounts and payment options.

To reduce the impact on the environment, you will receive your invoice via email after your order has been successfully placed and processed. It can also be forwarded to your accounts team if necessary using a different email address you give them.

Your label rolls are wrapped carefully and securely before being dispatched via DHL Standard service. When placing your order, you can indicate if you'd want Express delivery. While UPS Fast shipping is priced according to the number and weight of your roll labels, DHL Standard shipping is free.

To ensure a smooth delivery of all goods to your doorstep we use DHL services, goods are shipped out from our nearest stores to your location, may involve goods passing GCC boarders and involves various customs charges will be charged seperatly. The payment of such charges will have to be made to your local delivery office or agent of logistic service providers.
